But then something hanging on a tree caught Melanie’s attention.
It was a lost poster. ‘Lost Rabbit. Name: Patch. Black and White. Reward if found.’
The whole group came together to examine the poster.
They decided to go out and search the park for patch.
They all split up and began searching.
Axel looked under the slippery slide… he wasn’t there.
Melanie looked in the sand pit… he wasn’t there.
Jason looked in a bush… he wasn’t there.
Kira looked in a knocked over bin… he wasn’t there.
They all got back together empty handed and decided to sit down for a while.
The group were shocked to discover that it was patch.
Overwhelmed with excitement they picked up patch and began walking patch back to his owner’s house.
